What therapeutic approaches do you use?
Christy uses a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches in her work including: Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), Attachment-based Therapy, and Gottman Relationship Therapy. She will always create an individualised treatment plan tailored to your needs.
In which formats do you offer psychological services?
Our services are offered in a variety of formats including:
- one-on-one appointments
- group therapy and group workshops
Delivered via:
- Telehealth; or
- In-person at our Buderim Centre.

Which professional bodies are you registered with?
As a psychologist, Christy is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency, and as a teacher she holds registration with Queensland College of Teachers and The Teachers Registration Board of WA.
Can I claim both medicare rebates and private health rebates for services
Different rebates apply to different services. Please see our general fees page for further information, and/or our individual services pages for specific information related to each service. As a general rule, you are unable to use any private health rebates if you are already accessing Medicare rebates for services.
Are your services confidential?
Yes. Every session is confidential. Information will remain confidential to all parties unless you give written consent to release information. There are two exceptions to this rule: if you are at risk of harm to yourself or someone else, or if my notes are subpoenaed by court. As a psychologist, Christy is bound by a Code of Ethics, set by the Australian Psychological Society, ensuring your privacy and best interest remains paramount.

What are your opening hours?
We are open by appointment only. We offer appointments both within and outside of business hours. Please following the link to book an appointment and/or see upcoming available appointment times.
How do I book an appointment?
For therapy appointments, it is best to click on any of the bookings links, and book directly through our online system.
For cognitive assessments, please submit an enquiry by clicking the enquiry link here or on the cognitive assessment page of our website. We will then contact you to determine your suitability for services and get you booked in.
